With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert D. Stanford (Longview, Washington), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Robert left this world on April 29, 2026 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Robert leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Stanford and Gladys Stanford. He is survived by: his sister Winnifred; his wife Aileen Stanford; and his children, Alan Stanford (Melissa) of Cape Coral, Florida, Eric Stanford (Elisa) of Monument, Colorado and Jana Schmutz (Mark) of Longview, Washington. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Northlake Church (2614 Ocean Beach Hwy, Longview, WA 98632).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Three Rivers Christian School.
