He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Chrest and Henrietta Chrest (Gleave); his wife Sharon Miller; and his siblings, Orville Chrest, Betty Masters, Verna Justin and Lilia Winiarchik.
He is survived by: his children, Joann Nelson (Keith) and Bart Chrest (Julie); his granddaughters, Amanda Nelson, Richelle Chrest and Jamie Chrest; his great grandchildren, Shane Rusher and Keith Goodbla; and his sister Judi Whitehead. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Steele Chapel (5050 Mt Solo Rd, Longview, WA 98632).
