He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Nydam and Catharina Nydam (DeJong); his siblings, Earl, Alfred, Anna and Kathleen; his in-laws, Ben and Anna Schilder; and his brother-in-law Benny Schilder.
He is survived by: his wife Geri Nydam; his sister Geri Kerr; his sister-in-law Winnie Schilder; his nephews, Frank Nydam (Sue) and Ben Nydam (Sheri); and his grandchildren, Kate Cathcart (Trenton), Olivia Ableman (Kenny), Ellie and Aliva Nydam. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
