He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Woolford Hurlock and Edna Gertrude "Betty" Hurlock (Rupp); his brothers, Robert Hurlock and John Hurlock; and his former wives, Jacqueline Ponder (Avery) and Odetta Hurlock (Hamilton Moffett).

He is survived by: his wife Catherine Hurlock (Weightman); his brothers, Ron Hurlock (Paula), Tom Hurlock (Linda) and Larry Hurlock; his children, Greg Hurlock, Shanna Kurth (Hurlock), Mark Hurlock, William "Buz" Moffett, Joel Moffett, Andrew Weightman, Sarah Weightman, Eric "Ricky" Brown and Alyssa Brown; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Kolin, Natalie, Taney, Ephraim, Alex, Ryan, Randi, Avery, Mackenzie, Jesse, Taylor, Brittany, Kailey, Ka'ua and London. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
