Gary Sytsma Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Sytsma (Lynden, Washington), who passed away on December 16, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walt Sytsma and Irene Sytsma (Dammann); and his brother-in-law Galen Vanderhage. He is survived by: his son Mike Sytsma (Heather); his grandchildren, Cady and Cara; his son Jason Sytsma (Katie); his grandchildren, Stephen and Theo; his former wife Marjorie Billy; his siblings, Debra Vanderhage of Maple Falls and Allen Sytsma (Shelly) of Sandy Point; his nibling Alayna Sorenson (David); his great-niece Paisley; his great-nephew Hudson; his nibling Brittni Wallace (Nate); his great-nephew James; his aunts, Donna Tidmarsh, Cynthia Purdy and Shirley Kleinmeyer; and his uncle Ron Sytsma.
