With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gretta Bouwman (Lynden, Washington), who passed away on October 18, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dick Bouwman and Sadie Bouwman (Stremler); her siblings, Frank (Jackie), Sidney, John and Bernice Mouw; and her brothers-in-law, Don Fox and Bill Hayes.
She is survived by: her siblings, Louise Fox of Anacortes, WA, Grace Hayes of Lynden, WA, Richard (Katie Bouwman) and Douglas (Diane Bouwman); and her sister-in-law Doris Bouwman of Lynden, WA.
On September 21, 2000, Gretta donated a kidney to her best friend from nursing school, Jeri Remillard.
