She was predeceased by: her husband Dirk De Mooy; and her son Richard. She is survived by: her children, Jack De Mooy (Adria), Rita Van Laar (John) and Linda Luis (Thomas); her grandchildren, Rick De Mooy (Janice), Andrew De Mooy (Karen), Dirk De Mooy (Sandy), Bethany Van Delft (Ryan), Jesse De Mooy (Julina), Richard Van Laar (Lisa), Rueben Van Laar (Roseanne), Bonnie Eilander (Ali), Angela Fennema (Jordan), Jolene Faber (Ben) and Tiffany Luis; her sisters-in-law, Sjaan Pearsum and Mach De Mooy; her brother Jan; her sister-in-law Thera De Mooy; and her nephew Henny (Marga Dekker). She is also survived by 44 great-grandchildren.
