Jacob Stap Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacob Stap (Lynden, Washington), who passed away on May 1, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stap and Alice Stap; his sister Adeline Stap; his grandson Mark Stap; and his parents-in-law, Jelte, Jennie Visser, Lloyd Broersma, Andrew, Gert Visser, Lambert, Freda Visser, Ralph, Cora Visser, William, Edith Visser, Hilbert, Wilma Visser, Jasper John Visser, Wallace Visser and Mel Robertson.

He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Visser; his children, Karen (Ron Hendricks), Larry (Debbie Stap), Ken (Sherri Stap), Kermit (Trish Stap) and Monte (Tammie Stap); and his siblings, Catherine Broersma, Joan Stuit (Ray), Vonnie Zoerink (Marshall), Lorraine Katte (Dick), Marjorie Robertson and Elton Visser. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
