Jake left this world on September 27, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Heerspink and Dora Heerspink (Klooster); and his siblings, Teresa Duree (Jack) and John (Sylvia). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Heida; his children, Cynthia, Wayne, Jeff (Beth) and Ryan (Wendi); his grandchildren, Kevin (Oksana), Nathan, Abigail, Josiah, Caleb, Elia, Kaden, Carson and Kellen; his great grandchild Emma; and his brother Ralph (Louann). He is also survived by other extended family, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Victory Christian Fellowship/Faith Reformed Church (300 7th St, Lynden, WA 98264).
Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity in Jake's name.
