With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Van Middendorp (Lynden, Washington), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 28, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Teunis Middendorp and Alice Van Middendorp of Rock Rapids, Iowa.; his wife Lavonna Van Middendorp (Van Der Weide); and his in-laws, Dorothy, Willie, Clara, Arthur, Geneva, Norman and Egbert.
He is survived by: his siblings, Joann Van Beek and Marvin Van Middendorp; and his siblings-in-law, Audrey Pluim (Oroville), Dennis Van Der (Nancy) and Wilma Van Der Weide. He is also survived by 41 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren.
