We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2023, at the age of 88, Joseph J. Straka (Lynden, Washington), born in Bellingham, Washington passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, John Straka and Anna Straka (Theisen); his brother John Straka; his brother-in-law Tom Thompson (Ellen); and his brother Frank Straka (late Mary).
He is survived by : his siblings, Ellen Thompson and Henry Straka (Hank); and his sister-in-law Lorraine Straka (Russell). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Mt. Baker High School Future Farmers of America Club at 4936 Deming Rd, Deming WA 98244, or to the March of Dimes Foundation on their website, in his name.
