She was predeceased by: her parents, Arie Weide and Jennie Van Der Weide; and her siblings, Dorothy, Willie, Clara, Arthur, Geneva and Norm.
She is survived by: her husband John T Van Middendorp; her children, Todd Van Middendorp (Joanne) of Hull, IA, Julie (Bill) of Boer, Jay Van Middendorp (Nancy) of Sumas, WA, Larry Van Middendorp (Kath) of Everson, WA, Alice Yonkman (Tom) of Sumas, WA, Olivia Kardux (Frank) of Chilliwack, BC and Steven Van Middendorp (Emily) of Everson, WA.; her siblings, Audrey Pluim (Orvil) and Dennis Van Der (Nancy); and her sisters-in-law, Wilma Van Der Weide, Ada Van Der Weide, Marg Van Der Weide, Joan Van Beek and Marv Van Middendorp. She is also survived by 41 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren.
A prayer was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gillies Funeral Home & Cremation Services (202 Front St, Lynden, WA 98264). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Sumas Cemetery (9400 Sumas Rd, Sumas, WA 98295). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Netherlands Reformed Church (8581 Depot Rd, Lynden, WA 98264).
