He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Royal Brumbaugh and Florence Brumbaugh; his sister Eleanor Lindsay; his wife Rhoda Gerde of Portland, OR; his children, David Brumbaugh (Bonnie), Mark Brumbaugh (Lauren) and Janet Beanblossom (Gary); his grandchildren, Ryan Beanblossom, Erin Beanblossom Mensing, Sean Beanblossom, Kellen Brumbaugh and Allison Brumbaugh Prater; and his great grandchildren, Treyson, Emma, Levi Beanblossom, Sunshine and Juniper Mensing.
