She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Ripperda and Etta Ripperda; her husband Robert DeVries; her children, Treva Hammingh (Mike), Monae Birkhofer (Duaine), Marissa Cramer (Tim) and Bryn DeVries (Sarah); her grandchildren, Alanis Miller (Caleb), Taya Hammingh, Austin Birkhofer (Kathryn Fehme), Conner Birkhofer, Avrie Paul (Noah), Jake Cramer, Shawn Cramer, Caleb DeVries, Kellen DeVries, Weston DeVries and Paige DeVries; her sister Karen Schwantes (Jerry); and her in-laws, Jim, Beryl DeVries, Janet Holt, Chuck, Barb Tjoelker, Wayne, Barb DeVries, Mike and Karen Lindeen. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Monumenta Cemetery (1980 Front St, Lynden, WA 98264). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the First Reformed Church (610 Grover St, Lynden, WA 98264).
