He was predeceased by: his parents, Jelte Visser and Jennie Visser; his wife Cora Lankhaar; his son Jelte Visser; his great grandchild Jera Sterk; his brothers, Wallace Visser, Lambert Visser (Freda), Hilbert Visser (Wilma), Bill Visser (Edith), Andy Visser (Gert) and Jasper John Visser; and his parents-in-law, Mel Robertson, Cornelius Lankhaar, William Lankhaar, Gerrit Lankhaar (Dorothy), Dennis Lankhaar (Barb), Marie VanderPloeg (Rene) and Helen Honcoop (Maurice).
He is survived by: his children, Alice Sterk (John) of Lynden, Richard (Phyllis) of Keizer, OR, Rod Visser (Penny) of Lynden and Carolyn McIlvenna of Lynden; his siblings, Jeannette Stap (Jake) of Lynden, Marj Robertson of Grants Pass and Elton Visser of Sumas; and his sister-in-law Agnes Lankhaar of Lynden. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
