He is survived by: his sons, Scott (Melanie) and Todd (Cheri); his granddaughters, Nicole Rutgers, Hannah Rutgers, Brittany Leach (Chris) and Brianna Bonewell (Micah); his great grandchildren, Ember, Daxton and Saylor Leach; and his siblings, Carol May, Dale Rutgers (Femmie) and Gerald Rutgers (Tammy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, many friends.
