She was predeceased by: her husband Bryant Smit; her granddaughter Tara Smit; and her parents, Effie Mustoe and William McMillan (Neil Pond). She is survived by: her grandchildren, Brock (Melanie Anderson), Bryce (Michelle Anderson), Braxton (Jordan Anderson), Denver (Miranda VanderYacht), Drake (Hailey VanderYacht), Karly (Brenten Fox) and Britton (Traci Smit); and her sister Dawn Lory of Oregon.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 6811 WA-539, Lynden, WA 98264.
