She was predeceased by: her parents, Meindert Tjoelker and Janet Tjoelker (Hofstede); her son Jack Maarhuis (Kelly); her husband Bart Maarhuis; and her siblings, Henry, John, George, Bert and Alice Hazenberg.
She is survived by: her children, Nettie Bos (Denny), Ken Maarhuis (Jopie), Peggy Berendsen (Chuck) and John Maarhuis (Laurie); her siblings, Bill Tjoelker, Frieda Van Dyk and Janie Martinson; and her sisters-in-law, Marie Tjoelker, Ruth Tjoelker, Norma Maarhuis and Ida Snip.
