He was predeceased by : his father Willie Mims, Sr.. He is survived by : his mother Hattie B. Mims; his wife Rutha Mims; his children, Judy Lynn Mims (Mary) of Seattle, WA and Avery Dale Mims (Carol); his grandchildren, Ashleigh of Haymarket, VA, Cameron of Haymarket, VA, Robert of Haymarket, VA, Mercy Mims-Daniel and Darnell Emil Daniel of Seattle, WA; and his great grandchildren, Carter and Maya Ruth. He is also survived by great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins; his mother and father.
