Janet Whittig Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 26, 2026, Janet Whittig (Milton, Washington) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Janet farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Janet is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Miller and Harriet Miller; and her brother Edward Terry Miller (Kris). She is survived by: her husband Jerry; her daughters, Kathi Opitz (Dan) and Kelli Stein (Sarah Blattberg); her grandchildren, Trevor Opitz (Annie Althauser) and Taylor Nutter (Jason); her great grandchild Hendrick Althauser-Opitz; and her sister Diane Totten (Rob Bledsoe). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
