She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Sauer and Lydia Rott Sauer (Rott); her husband Gorden Melcher; her brother John Sauer; and her grandson Cole Melcher.
She is survived by: her grandson Rodney; her sons, Jeff Melcher (Heather) and Rod Melcher (Jani); her grandchildren, Nathan Melcher (Jasmine Olson), Alexis Macduff (Paul) and John Melcher; her sisters, Barbara Lesser (Leroy) and Lois Groh; Alice Kanzler (Gilbert). She is also survived by children and grandchildren, and many cousins and friends.
