It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Duckworth of Moses Lake, Washington, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his wife Linda; his children, Christi Welch (Jeremy), Karen Schmid and Gary Michael Duckworth Jr. (Linda); his grandchildren, Kevin Barnett (Kara), Kelly Barnett (Stiphini) and Kristina Smith (Bryon); and his friend Kay Matson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation to the Salvation Army be made in Gary's name.
