She is survived by: her brothers, Juan, Felipe, Ismael and Neftali; and her son Juan. She is also survived by family, Andrea leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hawthorne Funeral Home & Memorial Park (1825 E College Way, Mount Vernon, WA 98273). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (400 N 15th St, Mount Vernon, WA 98273). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Summit Park Grange Hall (8716 Stevenson Rd, Anacortes, WA 98221).
Despite being in and out of the hospital for ongoing health issues, Andrea was able to attend the award ceremony in Olympia where she was honored for her contributions to the lives of so many children and families.
