David Irving Anderson, 84, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2024, in Mount Vernon, WA. David was born in Mount Vernon, WA on March 4, 1939, to Phillip and Dorotha Anderson.

The people that knew him best called him Andy or Uncle Dad. He attended Mount Vernon High School. Prior to finishing High School David enlisted in the United States Navy in March of 1956. He married Carol in March of 1967 and retired from the Navy in July of 1976. After retiring from the Navy he moved back to Conway, WA. He acquired AAA Rent A Pottee in March of 1983. In 2001 David retired and enjoyed 17 years playing snowbirds with Carol in the desert in Quartzite, AZ.

David enjoyed sprint car racing, hunting, fishing, and loving life. He was a member of the Elks Club, VFW, DAV, Fleet Reserve and the American Legion.

He is survived by wife Carol Ann, sons Kelly Dean Hart (Kellie), David J (Amy), daughter Deborah Lou Danielsen (David), grandkids Kaleb, Kate and Devin Wall, Sierra and Anthony Curran, Gary, Tyrel and Dustin O'Malley. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, brother Gary and Sister Phyllis.

A graveside service will be held Friday February 16, 2024, at 12:00pm at Hawthorne Memorial Park, Mount Vernon, WA with a reception to follow in the Hawthorne Reception room.

Memorials can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
