He is survived by: his wife Gloria Vaara; his sister Pam Evans; his children, Jeremy (Jen Thurston) and Becky Tjeerdsma; and his grandchildren, Cash, Crew Tjeerdsma, McClain Thurston and Lowyn Lacey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and so many wonderful friends.
