He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Peter Governale (Nicolo Pietro) and Josephine Carl; and his sister Angela Boudreaux (Melvin). He is survived by: his wife Sara; his children, Marcie (Patrick Gallagher) and Nicholas III (Deborah); his grandchildren, Evan and Sophia; his sister-in-law Marlene Meitl (Steve); his nieces, Angela Marie Campbell (Jim) and Mary Jo Staehle (Billy); his nephew John Boudreaux (Sandra); and his brothers, Joey Efker and John.
