It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Duane Vander Stoep (Mount Vernon, Washington), who passed away on August 13, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fanny Stoep (Reintjis) and Andrew Vander Stoep; his son Ryan; his grandchildren, Allen and Beth Vander Stoep; his brother Ed; his sister-in-law Bonnie; and his siblings, Bill and Loni Anderson (Ernie Eerkes).
He is survived by: his wife Rita; his grandchildren, Andrew Vander Stoep, Laina Mercer (Scott Delbeck), Allyson Schaplow (Duke), Anna Ray, Adria Ray and Amelia Ray; his brother Ken; his sister-in-law Annie Vander Stoep; and his in-laws, Carl Anderson, Kay Roodzant, Norma Moss (Fladebo), Larry and Dee Fladebo. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
