He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Benson and Mildred Benson; and his sister Sonja Cowan. He is survived by: his children, Robb Benson (Darla), Rozanne Nelson (Shawn), Renee Benson and Ruthie Benson; his brother Vic Benson (Linda); and his grandchildren, Daily Bontrager, Austin, Andrew and Alex Nelson. He is also survived by nephews, and friends.
