He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Anderson and Marion Anderson (Hildahl); his brother Gary Anderson; and his former wife Cherilyn A Anderson (Darroch). He is survived by: his children, Timothy, James and Rachael; his sons-in-law, Nakia Salazar and Tracy Knapp; his grandchildren, Kelcy and Derek; his sister-in-law Dawn Darroch; his half-brother Paul; and his aunt Lorraine Hildahl (Schafer). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In the middle of the HIV AIDS pandemic, Arnie was one of the few pastors willing to officiate AIDS funerals' and the congregation partnered with Seattle's Chicken Soup Brigade to ensure the non-profit could provide hot nutritious meals for the hundreds of Puget Sound Residents fighting AIDS.
