He was predeceased by : his son Michael. He is survived by : his grandchildren, Amy Wallace (Andy), Chad Wallace (Kristy), Ryan Fraser, Gavin Stewart, Arielle Bons (Brian), Rex Fraser (Leilonie) and Lynnea Smoyer (Nate); and his great grandchildren, Ashlyn Wallace, Blake Koelbl, Halle Bons, Abram Bons, Liam Wallace, Naomi Fraser and Adeline Fraser.

A memorial service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Whidbey Presbyterian Church (1148 SE 8th Ave, Oak Harbor, WA 98277).
