He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmanuel Witt and Julianna Witt; his wife Doris Woods; and his siblings, Lorraine Smith, Ken and Wesley Witt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vicki Edwards (Ken), Patty McCarrell (Floyd) and Terri Baker (Danny). He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
