Joanna Jean Thompson Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on October 27, 2025, at the age of 94, Joanna Jean Thompson in Odessa, Washington passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Arzt and Elda Arzt; and her husband Clinton Thompson (Bud). She is survived by: her stepfather Orval Lyle; her children, Vickey Melcher (Wes) of Moses Lake, WA, Kristey Shimek (Rob) of Salem, OR and Randey Thompson (Jeri) of Spokane Valley, WA.; her grandchildren, Jayson Melcher (Stephanie), Jesyka McCain (Kyle), Amanda Arthurs (Dave), Angela Martinez (Justin), Chris Wilkinson (Ashley) and Nick Wilkinson; her sister Glenda Pittman of Colville, WA; and her brother-in-law Travis Thompson (Sharon) of Spokane, WA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
