With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Engelson of Okanogan, Washington, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Engelson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Phyllis Millstead Sanders and Frank Sanders; and his close friend Gary. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his daughter Julie Duke (Mike); his grandchildren, Amber Murrah (Clayton) and Mason Duke; his daughter Shari Lewis (Darryl); his grandchildren, Matty Callicoat-Lewis (Kat) and Gavin Lewis (Sierra); his sister Linda Stilwell (Merle); and his close friends, Rick, Char Schumacher, Georgia Beam and Tim Kraft. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to the Malott Improvement Club at PO Box 88, Malott, WA 98829.
