He is survived by: his wife Ruth Gunderson; his children, Lauri Lawler (David), Gregory Schaffler (Amy) and Kristina Schaffler; his grandchildren, Max, Maggie Schaffler, Jamie and Jack Lawler; and his sister Mildred Foss (Skip). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
