It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Joan McCowan in Olympia, Washington, born in Puyallup, Washington, who passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Gustaf M. Sorensen and Alma A. Sorensen (Johnson); and her son Tim Olden. She is survived by : her husband Lavern McCowan; her sons, Kevin Olden (Mary Jo) of Adrian, MI and Mike Olden (Kelly) of Tumwater, WA; and her siblings, Vicki Eastburn of Spanaway and Neal Sorensen of Renton, WA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
