He is survived by : his daughter Kimberly (Bates); his grandchildren, Katie Collins, Tony Beattie and Emily Easley (Riley Winters); his daughter Michelle Eddy (Jason Reynolds); his grandchild Kassi Paulsen; his great grandchild Lennon; his grandchildren, Stroup and Nick Bakker; his brother Michael Bates (Anne Marie); his nephew Damian Bates (Angela); his niece Amanda Bates; his sister Patti Dustin (Duke); and his nieces and nephews, Scarlet Messenger (William R. Gibson) and Kerry Anne Davidson (Ben).
