With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Hunter in Olympia, Washington, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact James had on those he encountered along his journey. Though James may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez Rose and Gainor Hunter; his sister Martha Dotzler; and his granddaughter Rachel Lynn Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Hunter of Rainier, WA; his children, Matthew James Hunter of Spokane, WA, Chester Reed Hunter (Kathy) of Dupont, WA and Sara Jane Snyder (Brian) of Rainier, WA.; and his sisters, Johnnie Gail Luttrell of Missouri and Pally Jean Hidalgo of Arkansas. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 22009 N Meadowview Dr, Colbert, WA 99005.
