The passing of Janice C. Stankiewicz in Olympia, Washington leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 28, 2025 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Gerard Cady and Frances Pollins; and her siblings, Paul and Barb. She is survived by: her husband Don Stankiewicz; her grandchildren, Zared (Kate), Adam, Keegan, Kara (Jon) and Stevie; and her brothers, Dave Cady (Betty), Bob Cady (Kathy) and Greg Cady (Patti). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home (46401 Ann Arbor Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church (47650 N Territorial Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Michigan Memorial Park (32163 Huron St, Flat Rock, MI 48134).
