He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Lewallen and Elsie Lewallen; his nephews, Fred Lack and Kirk Rogers; and his granddaughter Carli Ash.

He is survived by: his sister Jaquita Rogers (Sheila Lewallen); his daughters, Leia and Jacarra Lewallen; his stepdaughters, Summer Hatcher and Madison Kirby; his grandchildren, Laci, Kiele, Kia'i, Damien, Brooklyn, Raiden, Preslie, Keyton, Paisley and Joey; and his great grandchildren, Layne and Jaxx.

Several years after his accident, his traumatic brain injury developed into Alzheimer's.
