We announce the death of William Paul Dils in Olympia, Washington, who passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 79. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. William will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. William’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Dils and Ruth Dils; his son John Dils; and his brother Steve Bigelow. He is survived by: his wife Susan Dils; his children, Jamie Johnston, Billy Bigelow and Kassandra Hillard; and his siblings, Michale Bigelow, Pat Bigelow, Mark Bigelow, Paul Bigelow and Mary Bigelow.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the The Heritage Room (604 Water St SW, Olympia, WA 98501).
