She was predeceased by: her parents, Omar Smith and Wanda Smith (Bolin); her husband Joel Nolan Hughes; and her grandson Todd Allen Jensen. She is survived by: her sister Janice Seale Wenatchee (Paul); and her children, Rita Jensen Pine (Tim), Scott Hughes Tonasket (Jody) and Grant Hughes Pine (Dusty). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
She lived a life of charity, unwavering faith, and compassion.
