He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Butcher and Evelyn Keefer Butcher; his wife Helen Lind of Seattle; his son Thomas Butcher; and his siblings, Virginia Farwell and Marshall Butcher.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Horton (Dave) of Port Orchard, WA, Paul Butcher (Ruth) of Othello, Janet Cupone (Steve) of Glendale, AZ, Steven Butcher (Angela Costanzo) of Othello and Linda Cyr (Paul) of Ketchikan, AK; his daughter-in-law Karen Norton of Othello; his grandchildren, Sarah, Kristen, Julie, Anthony, Brian, Eric, Scott, Seth, Travis, Spencer, Rachel, John Alex, Trent, Tanner, Joseph, Julianne, Nicole, Ashley and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Sena, Benjamin, Martial, Cyrus, Alistair, Genevieve, Archer, Lucia, Dagny, Samson, Margaret and Lori; his siblings-in-law, Liz Butcher and Charles Lind; and his cousin Walt Butcher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (703 E Larch St, Othello, WA 99344). A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bess Hampton Memorial Gardens (1915 E Cemetery St, Othello, WA 99344).
