He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Rood-Hobbs and Katherine Rood-Hobbs; his wife June Krueger-Hobbs; and his son Greg. He is survived by: his children, Ron (Cathy Riddle) and Debbie (Randy Hooper); and his brother Jerry Hobbs. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In leu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospital.
