He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Heavirland and Audrey Heavirland; his stepfather Byron Wigen; and his siblings, Loren and Loralee.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Heavirland (Lingscheit); and his siblings, LaVerne Heavirland (Sheila), Brad Wigen (Natasha), Kari Fallang (Paul) and Kathy Whalen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
