Nick leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Nick’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Nick will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Blattner and Doretta Blattner. He is survived by: his wife Renee; his brother Chris (Cynthia McCann); and his pet Renee. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, lifelong friends, sailing companions.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Port Ludlow Beach Club (121 Marina View Dr, Port Ludlow, WA 98365).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Nick's honor may be made to the Columbia Gorge Wind & Water Association to help make The Columbia River Gorge a better place for Wind-Riders or Wylde Wind & Water to provide water safety education and water sports opportunities to both kids and adults in the community.
