He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johnson and Rachel Johnson (Hancock); his stepmother Jessie Johnson; the mother of his children Valeria "Val" Hager Fischer; and his friend Ronell "Choppy" Doughman.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Johnson (Tammy), Bob Johnson (Kathy) of Council Bluffs and Joni Smith (Matt Kahlandt) of Papillion; his grandchildren, Justin Poast (Michelle), Jessica Stewart (Eric), Matt Johnson (Kate), Eric Johnson (Alison), Tyler Johnson, Brian Johnson and Kelsey Hotz (Logan); his sisters, Karen Klindt (Leon) and Kathie Livic (Tony); his girlfriend Darlene Akers of North Platte, NE; and his girlfriend's children, Ronald Duhon (Joni), Wendy Frank and Scotty Duhon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their children.
The family requests no flowers or memorial contributions.
