He is survived by: his daughters, Marcy Mercer (Chuck), Joyce Ewalt (Larry), Judy Woodworth (Brian) and Angela Anderson (Steve); his sister Patricia Hester; his grandchildren, Cally (Scott), Sydney, Violet, Tim (Veronica), Kylee, Jaren and Dan; and his great grandchildren, Shepp and Cami.
Whether sharing vegetables from his garden, lending equipment to a neighbor, umpiring youth baseball and softball, greeting visitors as a volunteer at Prosser Memorial Hospital, or donating his handcrafted fishing lures to the hospital gift shop to help raise funds for the hospital, he was always willing to lend a helping hand.
