It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alfred Mark Fairbanks of Pullman, Washington, born in Ontario, Oregon, who passed away on July 30, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Fairbanks and Emma Fairbanks (Hansen). He is survived by: his children, Mark (Heidi), Kerry (Craig Parker), Halli (Shane Carnahan), Jon (Jeanne), Joe (Sabrina) of Howard, J. J. and Lexie (Kris Yengich); and his siblings, Jean, Leslie, Jim, Bertha, Joe, Alice, Willard, Marva Taylor, Jon Fairbanks, Kathy Hatcher, Ruth Riggs, Mary Woodland, Charlotte South, Tom Fairbanks and Karen Hammerquist. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (2600 W A St, Moscow, ID 83843). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the LDS Church. Lunch after the services will begin at 1:00 pm, provided by the LDS Church to celebrate and share with one another.
