It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmen T. Welter of Pullman, Washington, who passed away on April 25, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Carmen departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carmen may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carmen leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Bauer and Geneva Bauer (Meyer); and her husband Lewis Welter. She is survived by: her children, Tina Imler (Mark) of Pullman, Colleen Welter (Mike Connell) of Pullman, Mark Welter (Shelley) of Chewelah, WA and Dan Welter (Tina) of Pullman; and her siblings, Jim Bauer, Joy Dahmen and Jeanne Dahmen. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
