He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry F. Koster and Hattie L. Koster (Scharnhorst); and his sister Betty Greenwell. He is survived by : his former life partner Dawn L. Heinrich of Genesee; his children, Mike Koster (Nancy) of Cedar Rapids, Susan Dawson (Gary) of Liberty Lake, Jody Carper (Tim) of Vancouver and Scott Koster (Tami) of Tualatin, Oregon.; his grandchildren, Jason Dawson (Bethany) of Kelso, Kayla Leslie (Shane) of Boise, Michael Koster (Shelby) of Newberg, Megan Peterson (Andrew) of Vancouver, Brian Carper (Anna) of Lake Oswego, David Koster (Courtney Malo) of Herndon and Jill Koster of Plymouth, Minnesota.; and his wife Eileen Hanneman.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the Moscow Elks.
